Why are our Business Partners vetted and approved by The Center?
The integrity of The Center is predicated by the company we keep. Our basic premise is: Nonprofits need more funding. Funders need more confidence. More confidence comes from demonstrated operational competence. Operational competence comes from understanding and applying best practices. Best practices are found here and membership is free.
The products and services offered here must help our members achieve operational competence in some way. In other words, The Center and our Business Partners only make money when adding value for our members.
How does it work?
Business Partners are vetted to meet or exceed the criteria stated above.
Once approved, our Business Partners are featured in our Resource Center, on you own Business Partner Page, and included on our Preferred Providers lists. You will also receive a free 500 X 500 pixel display ad that will be featured randomly throughout the site. Either our creative department can put together a display ad for a small fee or you can create your own. Please see examples on the right column of this page.
For consideration, we require the following information:
- Corporate website
- A short description of your organization (under 200 words)
- How your products or services work (under 200 words)
- Benefits and/or features of offerings to membership
- Contact name and information
Is an investment required?
No upfront investment is required. However, all Business Partners* revenue share a predetermined amount or percentage for products and/or services sold through our site. In other words, if you don’t make money, you pay nothing.
